“The Aurorian Trilogy” is a dark fantasy series intended for readers 16 years or older that features several dark themes. While I would characterize the first book, “Prophecy of Blood and Flames,” as a gray/semi-dark novel, as the writer I have the benefit of knowing where the story is leading to, and the final two books in the series will be much heavier and darker.
